n Traverse can Claim Title-Win over Cadillac cinches N. M. I. Championship. Final score was 21 to 19. The men of the Black and Gold 1913 football team, who with the Cadillac aggregation stacked up in the classic event of Saturday’s N.M.I. program, took their final hazard safety when they defeated the Price aggregation by the narrow margin of 21 to 19, and thereby earned for themselves an open field in which to take the spurt to the championship goal.

Charlevoix is the one other school in the circuit which has any sort of a claim on the title, but until the northerners consent to meet the Dowden crew in a deciding match, Traverse City is defender of the flag.

n This has been a ideal year for turkeys and those in the section who have been raising them are bringing them in for the Thanksgiving market.

n Frank West, of East Front street, yesterday stepped on a rusty nail and is today suffering with a very sore foot.

nThe interior decoration work at the post office is rapidly nearing completion and it is expected that the work will be entirely finished within a short time.

n College and high school Thanksgiving vacations start tomorrow night, and include both Thursday and Friday. The U. of M. is the only school which holds classes on Friday.
