Update on 12/16/2013 historical photo

Historical photo information, provided by reader Dan Ritt, for the Dec. 16 image:

- The serviceman was Louis Ritt, of Bellaire. He flew in B-17s over Europe and twice had to parachute from disabled planes. The second time he was captured by the Germans and spent 21 months in a German POW camp. He was liberated by U.S. troops. He moved back to Bellaire where he spent his career as manager of Antrim County Auto. He died in 2002. Dan Ritt is Louis Ritt’s nephew.
