Healing service

TRAVERSE CITY — A healing prayer service for the Rev. Jon DeBruyn will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, June 13, at Fellowship Church, 2555 Garfield Road North. An offering will be collected to help with medical expenses and child care will be available. For details, call 421-5382.

Strawberry Social

WILLIAMSBURG — The Williamsburg United Methodist Church’s Strawberry Social will be held Saturday, June 15.

Strawberry shortcake and/or strawberry sundaes will be served from 5 to 7 p.m. at the church on Williamsburg Road off M-72. A freewill offering will be accepted. There also will be a silent auction from 5 to 7 p.m. and a live auction of themed baskets and other donated items starting at 7 p.m. For details, call 267-5942.

Father’s Day social

Farm market

BENZONIA — The Grow Benzie Farmers Market opens for the season Monday, June 17.

Market hours are 3 to 7 p.m. Mondays at Grow Benzie, 5885 M-115. Bridge Card holder will be able to use their cards and double their buying power through the “Double Up Food Bucks” program and Project Fresh (Wic) coupons also will be honored. For details, call Deb Query, 882-9801.

‘No Ants’ picnic

TRAVERSE CITY — Reservations are due Monday, June 17, for the Delta Kappa Gamma Traverse City Phi Chapter’s annual “No Ants” picnic.

The group will meet at noon Wednesday, June 19, at the home of Beth Bynum. Members should bring an item for a salad or dessert. Beverages will be provided.
