• David Barr and Beth Dwaihy-Barr will be honored at the Legacy Gala on Saturday, June 15 at the Novi Civic Center in Novi. David Barr has been a sculptor for 50 years and is the founder of Michigan Legacy Art Park, located in Benzie County. Beth played a fundamental role in his career and has influenced the lives of many through her own work as a professional dancer, instructor and choreographer. The Legacy Award is bestowed annually by Michigan Legacy Art Park to recognize those who have made a positive impact on Michigan’s arts, history and culture.

Tickets to the 2013 Legacy Gala are $75 per person and can be purchased online at
