Grief support

TRAVERSE CITY — A new support group, “Living With Loss: Healing with Group Support,” will meet from 6:30 to 8 p.m. six Mondays starting today, May 13, in meetings rooms A & B at Munson Community Health Center, 550 Munson Ave. There is no charge.

Antrim GOP Women

CENTRAL LAKE — The Antrim County Republican Women will meet at noon today, May 13, at the Pelican Inn. The luncheon is $15 per person. Antrim County Republican Party Chairman Randy Bishop will be the guest speaker.

Infant eye exams

TRAVERSE CITY — Area optometrists are participating in Michigan InfantSEE Week by offering free eye and vision assessments through Saturday, May 18, and throughout the year, for babies 6 to 12 months old, regardless of family income and insurance. Appointments are required.

Human Rights forum

TRAVERSE CITY — The Traverse City Human Rights Commission will host a spring educational forum and panel discussion titled "What Separates Us in Northern Michigan" at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 14, in the second floor training room at the Governmental Center, 400 Boardman Ave. Seating is limited.

Genealogy meeting

TRAVERSE CITY — The Grand Traverse Area Genealogical Society will meet at 1 p.m. Thursday, May 16, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 3746 Veterans Dr. Mary Briggs will discuss using "Find-a-Grave" to research family plots. The public and guests are welcome.
