BELLAIRE — The Art, Film, Philosophy series will present “Community Building, Resilience and Preparedness” from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 13, at the Bellaire Community Hall, 202 N. Bridge St.

Immigration video

TRAVERSE CITY — The Unitarian Universalist Congregation will show a video on illegal immigration Wednesday, March 13. A discussion session on immigration will be held Wednesday, March 27.

A video from FX’s “30 Days” program will start at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the UU Congregation, 6726 Center Road. Discussion will follow.

Further discussion on immigration will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 27, also at the UU Congregation, with attorney Joanna Kloet, who is versed in immigration and legal complications.

The programs are free and open to the public.

LAKE CITY — Good Morning Lake City will be held Friday, March 15.

TRAVERSE CITY — Central Michigan University (CMU) Global Campus will offer a Master of Arts in School Principalship informational meeting on Wednesday, March 13.

The meeting will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. at the NMC University Center, Dendrinos Drive, off Cass Road. It is for teachers seeking a master’s degree program and for educators seeking building administrator credentials. For details, call 995-1756.

TRAVERSE CITY — Bob Evans, 1964 U.S. 31 North, will donate a portion of sales from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Thursday, March 14, to Acme Christian Thrift Store & Food Pantry.
