Game against cancer

Traverse City — The St. Francis Girls volleyball teams games against Boyne City tonight, Oct. 2, will support the fight against breast cancer.

The freshman will play at 4:30 p.m., the junior varsity at 6 p.m. and the varisty at 7 p.m. at St. Francis High School, 123 E. 11th St.

COA meets today

Undercover stories

Traverse City — Nikki Lennox will share her experiences as an undercover officer Thursday, Oct. 4, at the Peninsula Community Library, 2699 Island View Road.

Church Women

Lake Ann — Church Women United will meet from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 4, at Lake Ann United Methodist Church, 6583 First St. Attendees should bring a dish to pass and table service for the luncheon. The mission project is health or school kits.

Used book sale
