n Traverse Bay Area Intermediate School District’s Career-Tech Center (CTC) announced that four of its students have been selected as honorees in the 2014 Blissfest Logo Contest. Koree Bemiss, of Benzie Central High School, was First Place winner; Kaleigh Johnson, of Kingsley High School, Maria Cassem, of Traverse City West Senior High, and Marissa Stevens, of Benzie Central High School, were runners up.

n The work of three students at Traverse Bay Area Intermediate School District (TBAISD) was recently recognized with first place honors in a video contest sponsored by Value Health Partners, a collaborative of eight leading health systems in the state of Michigan, including Munson Healthcare. The students’ sketch animation video focused on stroke awareness to support messaging for National Stroke Awareness Month and resulted in a first place prize of $1000 to the TBAISD Career-Tech Center program. The CTC students are Alex Birch, Caleb Breithaupt and Mallory Heiges.
