The Leelanau County work bee will be held from 9 a.m.-noon Friday, May 16, with lunch at noon. Participants should meet at the Leelanau Conservancy, 105 N. First St., Leland, to remove garlic mustard from the Clay Cliffs Natural Area.

The work bee in Benzie County will take place from 9 a.m.-noon Saturday, May 17, with lunch at noon. Participants should meet at Trinity Lutheran Church, 955 James St., Frankfort., and will be removing garlic mustard from Tank Hill and Railroad Point natural areas.

The Great Garlic Mustard Hunt in Grand Traverse County will be from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, May 28, with dinner at 7 p.m. Participants should meet at the Boardman River Nature Center, 1450 Cass Road, to remove garlic mustard from locations throughout the county.

Volunteers of all ages and abilities are welcome. They should dress for the weather and may bring garden gloves and/or clippers. Registration is required by the Monday before each work bee. For details or to register, call 941-0960, ext. 29, or email kgrzesiak@gtcd.org.
