INTERLOCHEN — A benefit for the family of the late Doug Miller will be hosted Saturday, June 29.
“Miller Fest” will take place at the Interlochen Eagles pavilion, 20724 U.S. 31. A home-smoked pulled pork dinner will be served from 3 to 6:30 p.m. Entertainment from 6:30 p.m. to midnight will be provided by Lost Cause and Liquorboxx. The $15 cost per person includes dinner, entertainment and camping. There also will be a 50/50 drawing.
SUTTONS BAY — Chicken dinners made using old world recipes will be served at St. Wencelaus Church’s 104th Chicken Dinner Day.
The church will welcome visitors on Sunday, June 30, starting with Mass at 8 a.m., followed by the meal served from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. There also will be children’s games, a raffle and a garage sale. Meals are $12 for adults, $6 for children and free for preschoolers. Take-outs are available.

TRAVERSE CITY — Artcenter Traverse City is seeking to improve and expand its programming and acquire a new home to better serve artists and the community. A survey is under way to help with this initiative and the deadline has been extended.
The survey was funded by a grant from Rotary Charities of Traverse City. Artists and non-artists in Antrim, Benzie, Grand Traverse, Kalkaska and Leelanau counties are encouraged to participate at www.tcartsurvey.org. The deadline to complete the survey is Sunday, June 30.

TRAVERSE CITY — The Blair Library Committee is accepting vendor applications for a community-wide flea market.
The fundraiser will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, July 20, at the Northwestern Michigan Fairgrounds. There are approximately 35 indoor spaces with electricity, plus unlimited outdoor spaces. The spaces are 10- by 10-feet and vendors must provide their own tables, power cords, etc.
The vendor fee is $15 per space, plus a one-time $10 deposit, which will be refunded providing the space is cleaned up at the end of the day. Commercial vendors are welcome but are limited to one vendor for each company on a first-come, first-served basis.
