Fireworks for grads

BELLAIRE — A Mancelona family celebrating their daughter’s graduation from Mancelona High School is hosting a professional, public fireworks display beginning at approximately 10:15 p.m., Saturday, June 21, at Four Bears Lodge, a private residence at 1602 Bush Road.

Suggested arrival time is after 9:30 p.m. Guests may bring lawn chairs or blankets; the free show will last approximately 20 minutes.

Fishin’ Tackle Choir

BEULAH — “The Four Man Fishin’ Tackle Choir” will perform at 7 p.m., Saturday, June 21, at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, on Lincoln Road of US-31.

A free will offering will help support the community project that has helped repair more than 40 homes in Benzie County.

S.A.R. meeting

TRAVERSE CITY — The Northern Michigan Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution will hold its quarterly meeting at 11 a.m., Saturday, June 21, at Ruby Tuesdays, located at 1764 US-31 North.

Lunch will be ordered at noon with a regular business meeting to follow. Those interested in searching for their patriot ancestor and interested in Revolutionary War history are welcome.

Frankfort craft fair

FRANKFORT — The Frankfort-Elberta Area Chamber of Commerce will its18th annual Frankfort Craft Fair from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m., Saturday, June 21, on Main St. between 3rd and 5th Streets.

The Antique Vehicle and Muscle Car Show will be held one block down in Mineral Springs Park in downtown Frankfort. Registration begins at 8 am.

Yard waste pass

TRAVERSE CITY — Long Lake Township residents may pick up a no charge yard waste pass, now through June 24, at the Long Lake Township Hall during regular office hours, Tuesday thru Friday, 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. A valid I.D. is required to verify Long Lake Township residence status.
