---- — ‘WAR’ jewelry party

TRAVERSE CITY — Glen Eagle will host a WAR (Women At Risk) jewelry and home furnishings party on Thursday, March 28.

The party is open from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the atrium at Glen Eagle, 3950 Sumac Dr., and is open to the public. All items for sale were made by women rescued from slavery and proceeds go directly to Women At Risk International. To learn more, call 935-4553.

Holy Week services

TRAVERSE CITY — Northern Lakes Community Church invites the community to its Good Friday and Easter services.

The Good Friday service starts at 7 p.m. March 29. Easter Sunday, March 31, will be celebrated with an Easter breakfast potluck at 9:30 a.m. followed by worship at 10 a.m. and Sunday School for all ages at 11 a.m.

The church is located at 5444 Herkner Road, across from West Senior High School.

March ‘Swirl’

PETOSKEY — Swirl at the Crooked Tree Arts Center on Thursday, March 28, will feature appetizer and wine samples from the Harbor Springs IGA, music by Pete Kehoe and access to the current exhibit at the arts center.

Swirl starts at 7 p.m. at the Crooked Tree Arts Center, 461 E. Mitchell St. The doors open at 5:30 p.m. Tickets are $15 in advance; $20 the day of Swirl when available. Tickets are available at www.crookedtree.org or by calling 347-4337.
