Kid's Night is Friday, Feb. 8, with balloon art, face painting and music by Dave Cisco.

A special Mardi Gras menu will be available in addition to the regular menu on Saturday, Feb. 9.

Sunday, Feb. 10, is Super Sunday with Chicago blues musician Carl Weathersby from 7 to 10 p.m., while Monday, Feb. 11, is a warm up for Fat Tuesday with music by Funktion from 7 to 10 p.m.

Fat Tuesday, Feb. 12, features live Cajun zydeco by the Saucecats for dancing from 7 to 11 p.m. There is no cover charge and reservations are not required.

Festival of Food

Traverse City — Foodies can try different foods and learn new cooking skills at the Festival of Food.

The event will be hosted from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 9, at Northwestern Michigan College. Participants can choose four one-hour sessions from 16 options. The cost is $69. To register, call 995-1700. For details, visit
