Boat show

BAY HARBOR — Bay Harbor Lake Marina is hosting the 11th annual Bay Harbor In-Water Boat show Friday through Sunday, June 14-16.

Show hours are noon to 8 p.m. today, 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Saturday, and 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Sunday with live entertainment by Adam Engelman and Pat Ryan from 3 to 6 p.m. Friday. Tim Nixon with Lite 96 will broadcast live from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, followed by David Cisco performing from 4 to 8 p.m.

Caucus meeting

PELLSTON — The Progressive Caucus of the Michigan Democrat Party and the Northern Michigan Progressives will meet today, June 14, at the Pellston Airport.

A social hour from 5 to 6 p.m. will be followed by the meeting from 6 to 9 p.m. This will be a planning and strategy meeting for the First Congressional District. For details, email northernmiprogressives@charter.net.

Consignment sale

Grass River events

BELLAIRE — Grass River Natural Area’s Center is now open six days a week and has a variety of activities scheduled for visitors.

The Center is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday through Sept. 1, with naturalists on hand to answer questions and orient visitors. A series of free guided hikes, nature classes and family activities will be offered throughout the summer.

Toddler Trail Time starts today, June 14, and continues at 10 a.m. on Fridays through July 26. Classes last about one hour and are free. Registration is required.

On Saturday, June 15, the second in a series of mushroom forays starts at 9:30 a.m. The featured mushroom is the oyster. The cost is $5 and registration is required.
