Wellness Expo

TRAVERSE CITY — Glen Eagle Retirement Community will host a Senior Wellness Expo on Thursday, April 17.

The expo will be held from 9 a.m.-noon at Glen Eagle, 3950 Sumac Dr. There will be free blood pressure checks, balance assessments and local businesses on hand to discuss senior living options, extended care services, sight impaired tools and more. The expo is free and open to the public. For details, call 935-4553.

Camera Club

TRAVERSE CITY — The Thursday, April 17, meeting of the Traverse Area Camera Club will feature a talk by Todd and Brad Reed.

The club meets at 7 p.m. at The Presbyterian Church, 701 Westminster. The Ludington-based father-son team of photographers will present a slide show of 120 of the best images form their book “Tuesdays with Todd and Brad Reed: A Michigan Tribute,” and a video on the making of the images. The Reeds will answer questions and share their knowledge of photography, marketing, design, self-publishing and owning a gallery. The public is welcome.

Service, cantata

MANCELONA — The Antrim Church of Christ will hold a Good Friday Service and perform an Easter cantata.

Both services are at the church, 10228 S. U.S. 131. The Good Friday service starts at 7 p.m. Friday, April 18. “The King is Coming” Easter Cantata will be performed at 6 p.m. Saturday, April 19. Refreshments will be served following the Cantata service. For details, call 587-5445.
