Maple sugaring

WILLIAMSBURG — The Grand Traverse Regional Land Conservancy will host an inaugural Maple Bay Sugaring Day on Saturday, April 5.

Sap will be made into syrup and maple sugaring process basics will be explained. The event will be held from 1-3 p.m. at Maple Bay Farm, north of M-72. For details or registration, visit http://www.gtrlc.org/events or call 929-7911.

Pancake breakfast

MAPLE CITY — The Cedar/Maple City Lions will host a pancake breakfast on Sunday, April 6.

The meal will be served from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Lions Community Building, County Road 616.

The cost is $6 for adults, $3 for children ages 5 to 12, and free for children 4 and younger. Proceeds benefit Lions Club projects.
