---- — Adult care

TRAVERSE CITY — Registration is open for adult day and overnight respite at the Grand Traverse Pavilions. Financial assistance is available for qualified applicants.

The programs offer at-home caregivers a chance to do activities that might otherwise not get done because of the 24-hour, seven-day-a-week responsibilities of caring for a loved one at home.

Adult day and overnight respite participants can participate in social and recreational activities, with professional staff on hand to meet the individual needs of the participants. The programs also include dementia care, daily exercise, intergenerational age exchanges, music, picnics and more. Transportation within a 10-mile radius of Grand Traverse Pavilions is available.

For details or to register for programs and services, call 932-3045 or visit www.gtpavilions.com.
