Man sought in couple's killings
KENTWOOD — Police have released a sketch of a man sought as a person of interest in the killing of an elderly Grand Rapids-area couple during an invasion of their home.
Kentwood police say 81-year-old David Bouwman and 80-year-old Vivian Bouwman were found dead Saturday morning in the western Michigan city and say they'd been shot.
Police say they discovered the couple's burned-out gold Cadillac DeVille in neighboring Wyoming, which led them to the house and the discovery of the killings.
TV stations WOOD and WWMT say the man in the sketch has information about the burning of the car and possibly about the killings as well.
Police are asking anyone recognizing the man or with other leads to call 616-698-6580 or 616-774-2345.
