Festival of Trains

The Northern Michigan Railroad Club is presenting the 10th annual Festival of Trains at the History Center of Traverse City, with a visit from Santa tonight from 5-7 p.m. The show is open daily except Christmas and runs through New Year's Day. Hours are Mondays through Saturdays from 10 a.m.-7 p.m. and Sunday noon- 4 p.m., and until 4 p.m. Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve. Call 995-0313.

Live nativity

Bayview Wesleyan Church at 720 Wayne Street in Traverse City is presenting its 39th Annual Nativity on Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 22 and 23, from 7-9 p.m. and on Monday, Dec. 24, from 5:30-6:30. Call 947-3792.

It's a wrap

Join Traverse City Firefighters Local 646 in sorting and wrapping toys to be given to children in the Grand Traverse area who might not otherwise find anything under the Christmas tree this year. Volunteers can come at 9 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 22, at Station 1, 500 W. Front. Call 922-4930, Ext. 8.

Fundraiser tonight

A fundraiser for the Eardley family, who lost their home in a fire, is planned today at 7 p.m. The cast and band of the Williamsburg Dinner Theater will perform their holiday program, with proceeds going to the family. Admission is by donation.

Celebrate the End

Left Foot Charley and the Disability Network present an End of the World Party with live music, food and fun tonight from 6-9 p.m. Suggested donation is $5, with proceeds going to the Disability Network. Call 995-0500.

Wigglers welcome
