TRAVERSE CITY — Five people face felony charges after separate police investigations into drug delivery in Leelanau and Grand Traverse counties.
The Traverse Narcotics Team this week arrested four people after a six-month investigation into the delivery of prescription drugs into Leelanau County. They are accused of delivering Xanax and Adderall to undercover officers on eight occasions.
Two men and two women, who were not named in a Leelanau Sheriff's Department release pending arraignment, are charged with delivery of a controlled substance.
Another man faces delivery charges that stem from a separate TNT investigation. He is accused of selling oxycodone and methadone to undercover officers twice in 2012. Court records show he has not been arrested.
