CMU gives Enos new deal

MOUNT PLEASANT — Central Michigan gave football coach Dan Enos a new four-year contract, extending the Chippewas' coach an additional season through 2016.

"This agreement recognizes the success Dan and his staff had on the field and in the classroom this year," said athletic director Dave Heeke in a released statement. "I have high expectations for our program and appreciate the resolve Dan has shown in building this program. His vision, dedication for excellence and commitment to doing things the right way have helped this team to be positioned for continued success."

In his third season, Enos led the Chippewas to seven wins, including a victory over Western Kentucky in the Little Caesars Bowl in Detroit back in December.
