TRAVERSE CITY — Scott Alan Kraak, 50 of Traverse City went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Nov. 07, 2012 at Munson Hospice House surrounded by his loving family.
Scott was born on June 5, 1962 in Zeeland, Mich. to John Lloyd and Anna Jane (Gebben) Kraak. He married Tammy Lee Hibbard on Dec. 14, 1980 in Jacksonville, Fla. Together they lovingly raised four wonderful children.
Scott worked at the Grand Traverse Mall as a security director. He was a member of the Cornerstone Assembly of God church and a member of the Buckley Old Engine Show. He liked collecting and restoring antique Farmall tractors.
He was an avid deer hunter who also liked to fish, and he enjoyed riding his motorcycle. He was a black belt instructor in Moo Duk Kwan Tang Soo Do.
Scott was a wonderful husband, son, father, papaw and brother. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Surviving Scott is his wife, Tammy; his mother, Anna; children, Crystal (Shawn) McCollam, Jessica (Aaron) Gramza, Corina (Neal III) Hughes, and Joshua Kraak; grandchildren, Nolan, Jada, Jaylynn, Bethony, Harmony, Jonny, Cadence and Ayden; his siblings, Linda Vereeke, Debi (Don) Sterzik, Shari Bush, Kevin (Carol) Kraak, and Jody (Kirk) Evans, and many other loving family members and friends. Scott is preceded in death by his father Lloyd.
