Frankfort coach elected president of coach association

From staff reports

LANSING — A pair of girls basketball victories and a regional championship weren’t the only things Tim Reznich won this week.

Frankfort coach Tim Reznich was elected president of the Basketball Coach Association of Michigan.

He received 334 votes and Canton’s Brian Samulski had 263 votes. He’ll be president-elect for one year, president for one year and past president for one year while serving on the BCAM Board of Directors.

“It’s flattering to think enough coaches around here had enough respect for me to give me a vote,” Reznich said. “I hope I can make them proud of their vote and make some kind of a difference while I have my term here.”
