Police officers arrest suicidal man

CADILLAC -- Officers arrested a Cadillac man after he allegedly tried to commit suicide.

Police arrested the suspect, 46, who was armed with a knife, Wednesday night at his trailer on A Street in Leisure Park.

Cadillac police responded to a domestic disturbance complaint involving the same man earlier in the evening, but the suspect left before officers arrived.

The suspect was transported to Mercy Hospital in Cadillac to undergo a mental health screening.
