Cafe open house

MANISTEE — Iron Works Café will host a “don’t mind our dust” open house from 3 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, June 12.

The cafe is being developed by the nonprofit Manistee Community Kitchen in the long-dormant Iron Works Building on River Street. It will focus on helping people develop work and life skills while learning about restaurant operations, food sanitation, healthy eating and sustainable agriculture. Eventually the cafe will be open for lunch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Bake sale

MANTON — The Manton Senior Center will sponsor a bake sale on Friday, June 14, from 9 a.m. until items are gone.

Proceeds will support the Cadillac Patriots Choir trip to Washington, D.C.

Farm Party tickets

BENZONIA — Tickets are on sale for Grow Benzie’s fourth annual Farm Party.
