Gourmet gifts available in Manistee

MANISTEE -- Glenwood Gourmet Gifts is open at 345 River St. The owners, Donna Ervin and Chris Short, are owners of The Glenwood restaurant in Onekama.

The store hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday and noon to 4 p.m. Sundays.

Items for sale include gift baskets, housemade salad dressings and sauces, pies, breads and other specialty foods. They're made with locally grown products, including apples from Meister's Apple Valley Farms, cherries from Smeltzer's Orchard, Sievert's maple syrup and Brown's honey.

Varieties of pies include apple, cherry, blueberry, triple berry, pumpkin and pecan chocolate cream. The bakery sells foccacia, asiago cheese bread, cranberry walnut bread and cookies. There are also assorted chocolates, caramel corn, peanut brittle, party mix and fudge.
