‘Snow White’ ballet
TRAVERSE CITY — The Dance Center Youth Ensemble will premiere “Snow White,” a new ballet produced and choreographed by DCYE members, Saturday.
The production will be staged at 2 and 6:30 p.m. at Milliken Auditorium in the Dennos Museum Center, 1410 College Dr. A free children’s reception follows the matinee. Tickets are $18 for ages 19-55, $15 for seniors 55 and older; and $10 for children 18 and younger. They are available by calling The Dance Center, 947-6820.
Thistle and Thread
TRAVERSE CITY — Thistle and Thread artisan group will host its 36th annual holiday show on Saturday,.
The show and sale will be presented in a gallery setting from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. at the Grand Traverse County Civic Center, 1125 W. Civic Center Dr. There will be year-round art items and home decor as well as holiday-themed items.
ACME — Christ the King will hold its annual Craft Show from 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday at the church, 3801 Shore Road. In addition to handcrafted items, there will be a raffle, a bake sale and lunch. Call 929-1830 to learn more.
TRAVERSE CITY — Landmark Books’ grand opening on Saturday will be a fundraiser for FLOW, a nonprofit dedicated to protecting the waters of the Great Lakes.
The event will be held from 5-8 p.m. at the book store, suite 116 in Building 50 at the Grand Traverse Commons. Poet Michael Delp will sign his books and a special broadside featuring his poem “The Mad Angler’s Manifesto” will be available to purchase. There also will be a silent auction of signed books.

Gala dinner concert
WILLIAMSBURG — Love INC (In the Name of Christ) will celebrate its 25th anniversary with a dinner concert featuring the tribute group Peter, Paul & Mary Remembered.

Salute to Veterans
TRAVERSE CITY — Paul Koss and his band will perform a concert as a salute to veterans and as a fundraiser for Operation Injured Soldiers.
The benefit concert starts at 4 p.m. Sunday at Sleder’s Family Tavern, 717 Randolph St. Veterans will be admitted free at the door on the day of the show.
