Antique auto club

TRAVERSE CITY — The Northwestern Michigan Region of the Antique Automobile Club of America will meet at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 25, at Elks Lodge #323, 625 Bay St. New members are welcome. For details, call 947-2599 or 933-6141.

Watershed program

FRANKFORT — Plant It Wild will present a program titled “Watershed Restoration Projects” at its Wednesday, Sept. 25, meeting at Trinity Lutheran Church, 955 James St.

A potluck dinner at 6:30 p.m. will be followed by a business meeting and election of officers. The program starts at 7:15 p.m. and will focus on the technical work and cultural value of watershed restoration in Benzie and Grand Traverse counties. Those attending the meal are asked to bring a dish to pass and their own table service.

Curriculum Night

MANCELONA — North Central Academy, a K-12 free charter school, will host a Curriculum Night on Thursday, Sept. 26.

The event will be held from 5-7 p.m. at the school, 5055 Corey Road. It will feature information showcasing the school model built on visual learning, individualized instruction and small class sizes. Free dinner and child care will be provided.

Nursing program info

PETOSKEY — North Central Michigan College’s nursing and allied health faculty will hold an information session on Thursday, Sept. 26, to explain the process for admission into the college’s nursing and allied health career programs.

The session will start at 4 p.m. in room 347 of NCMC’s Health Education and Science Center on the Petoskey campus, 1515 Howard St. Anyone planning to apply for the nursing or allied health programs is encouraged to attend this or an upcoming informational session, which will be held Oct. 24, Nov. 21, Jan. 23, Feb. 20, March 20 and April 24.

CCR Tribute

LUDINGTON — West Shore Community College’s Performing Arts Series will present “Blue Moon Swamp,” a high-voltage John Fogerty and Creedence Clearwater Revival Tribute, on Friday, Sept. 27.
