Wild Rose concert

The Wild Rose Society will present a concert at 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 20, at the Frankfort United Methodist Church featuring Jeffery Norris, baritone, Sylvia Norris on harp and Steve Larson on piano. Freewill donations to support scholarships will be taken at the door.

Graduation Expo

More than 50 local businesses will feature goods and services during the Graduation Expo Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m. at Traverse City West High School.

Saturday movie

The drama/documentary, "Oceans," will be shown Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Traverse Area District Library main branch.

Snowshoe tours

A guided 1.6-mile snowshoe hike at Michigan Legacy Art Park will be held Sunday at 2:30 p.m. as part of World Snow Day activities scheduled throughout Crystal Mountain near Thompsonville. The tour begins at the Art Park trailhead. Fee is $10 per adult, free for 17 and under with paying adult. Bring your own snowshoes. Call 378-4963 or visit michlegacyartpark.org.

Warming night

The Mills Community House in Benzonia is hosting a warming night for skaters using the skating rink in Kiwanis Park on Saturday from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Complimentary hot chocolate, punch and cookies will be available.

OTP mainstage

"Over the River and Through the Woods" plays on the mainstage at Old Town Playhouse in Traverse City this weekend. Call 947-2210.

Ice extravaganza

The Bay Harbor Ice & Spice Festival runs today and Saturday near Petoskey. Sanctioned by the National Ice Carving Association, it will feature 20 ice carvers competing for medals and prizes. Call 439-2650 or visit villageatbayharbor.com/icespicefestival.

Benefit breakfast

The St. Patrick's Church Men's Club in Traverse City is making pancakes Sunday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., with proceeds to benefit Reining Liberty Ranch.

InsideOut presents

Harper & Midwest Kind play InsideOut Gallery in Traverse City today from 8-11 p.m. On Saturday, the Bayside Bombshells Burlesque troupe presents "Burlypocalypse" at 9 p.m.

Euchre tourney

A Project Graduation Euchre Tournament Fundraiser will be held Saturday at 7 p.m. at the Elk Rapids AMVETS. Admission is $15 per person, with hors d'oeuvres provided.
