Wellness classes

FRANKFORT — A Wellness Arts Open House will be hosted today.

Instructors from Studio on Main will lead 10 demonstration classes from 9 a.m.-noon at the Oliver Arts Center, 132 Coast Guard Road. Each class lasts 30 minutes. For details, call 383-1885 or email anna@studioonmain.biz.

Benefit breakfast

TRAVERSE CITY — The St. Patrick Men’s Club will sponsor a pancake breakfast to benefit Love INC (Love In the Name of Christ).

The meal will be served from 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Sunday at St. Patrick Church, 630 W. Silver Lake Road. The cost is $5.50 for adults, $3.50 for children ages 5 and older, free for children ages 4 and younger, and $20 for families. Additional donations are appreciated. For details, call 943-8545.

Parkinson’s support

TRAVERSE CITY — Parkinson’s Network North, formerly the Parkinson’s Support Group, will meet on Jan. 22.

The group will meet at 10 a.m. at the Traverse City Senior Center, 801 E. Front St. Registered dietitian and Munson Medical Center nutritionist Diane Roach will talk about “Nutrition for Two and Parkinson’s Disease.” For details, call 947-7389.

Health program

GRAYLING — The Crawford County Commission on Aging and Mercy Hospital Grayling will host a breakfast presentation on the Michigan Department of Community Health’s “Michigan Healthier Tomorrow” program.

Registered dietitians Krista Dulkowski and Michael Munger will be the guest speakers at the 9 a.m. program on Jan. 23 at the Grayling Senior Center, 308 Lawndale. They will discuss four health measures linked to several chronic diseases and share three steps to make meals and snacks healthier and budget friendly.

The meal is free for Crawford County residents; $5 for non-residents. Reservations are not required and donations are appreciated to help cover the costs. For details, call Karl Schreiner, (989) 348-7123.

Concert in Bear Lake

BEAR LAKE — Eric and Carl will share their singing and guitar music at 10 a.m. Jan. 26 at Bear Lake Christian Church, 221 Bear Lake Road. The public is invited.
