Sale at St. Vincent’s

TRAVERSE CITY — St. Vincent de Paul is having a Black Friday Sale from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday, Nov. 29, at the store, 1207 Woodmere Ave. Everyone is welcome.


Samba drumming

TRAVERSE CITY — Deep Blue Water Samba School offers community samba drumming class on the first and third Monday of each month.

The class meets from 7:30-9 p.m. at Grand Traverse Circuit, 225 W. 14th St. The snare drum section meets from 7:30-8 p.m, followed by a full-ensemble rehearsal. Participants should bring drumsticks, drum pads, earplugs, tape recorders, snare drums and any other Brazilian percussion they have. Instruments also will be provided.
