Loew earns rankof Eagle Scout
ELK RAPIDS — Nicholas Loew, an Elk Rapids High School freshman has earned the rank of Eagle Scout. His Eagle service project includes the benches and signs added to a footpath for the Stations of the Cross at his parish Christ The King Catholic Church in Acme.
Lowe has attended Philmont Scout Ranch, Boy Scouts of America’s largest national High Adventure Base in the Sangre de Cristo range of the Rocky Mountains in northern New Mexico. Nicholas and his dad climbed the “Tooth of Time”, a mountain with a peak at 9001 ft. above sea level.
Nicholas was inspired by his older brother, Jacob Loew, and both earned the rank in the same year.
