April Kurkowski, DO, has joined Traverse Health Clinic as a provider.

Dr. Kurkowski received a degree in osteopathic medicine from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences and has an extensive background in primary care, most recently as a family medicine physician at Kalkaska Memorial Health Center Rural Health Clinic.

Sharon Olson, Ph.D., nurse practitioner, has opened a Nurses Ecological Education & Wellness Center at 13795 Seven Hills Road, Suite L.

Olson’s professional focus will be on teaching and promoting Eco-Nursing, which examines three interconnected environments that impact wellness for nurses and patients in their care.
