Model air show
EMPIRE — The Traverse Area Model Pilot Society (TRAMPS) will host its 37th annual air show Saturday and Sunday, June 22-23.
Flying will be from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days at the Empire Airport. The show features giant scale World War II bombers and fighters, helicopters, aerobatic displays and jets capable of speeds in excess of 200 miles per hour.

Symphony love songs
BENZONIA — The first concert of the 2013 Benzie Area Symphony Orchestra is titled “BASO ... In Love.”
Conductor John W. Beery has selected familiar love songs from Broadway musicals for the 7 p.m. concert on Sunday, June 23, at the Benzie Central High School auditorium, Homestead Road.

Bob Milne performs
NORTHPORT — Ragtime/boogie-woogie pianist Bob Milne will make a return appearance at 8 p.m. Saturday, June 29, at the Northport Community Arts Center, 104 Wing St., at Northport Community School.
Milne is considered to be the best ragtime/boogie-woogie pianist in the world. He has been declared a “National Treasure” by the Library of Congress and is an active “Musical Ambassador” for the U.S. Department of State. His appearance is sponsored by the Northport Lions Club as a benefit for the Northport Children’s Center.
