Open Mic at Clinch

TRAVERSE CITY — Fresh Water Events, a coalition of professional event service providers, invites vocalists and acoustic musicians to participate in Open Mic by the Bay.

The event will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesdays and 1 to 3 p.m. Sundays at the newly renovated Clinch Park. The next open mic is Sunday, July 21. For details or to sign up to perform, visit www.freshwaterevents.com.

Summer concert

MANCELONA — The Mancelona Area Chamber of Commerce's summer celebration concert series continues on Tuesday, July 23, with a performance by Kenny Thompson.

Thompson will perform a selection of classic rock and country music at 7 p.m. at Triangle Park. Attendees should bring their own seating. In case of bad weather, the concert will be held at the Mancelona Middle School gym. For details, call 587-5500 or visit www.mancelonachamber.org.

Arts and Crafts

FRANKFORT — More than 100 artists will display and sell their work at the Congregational Summer Assembly’s Arts and Crafts Fair.

The fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., rain or shine, Wednesday, July 24, at the Assembly Ball Field on M-22, and a Cottage Treasures Sale will take place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. inside the CSA assembly building, adjacent to the ball field.
