Historical photo information, provided by readers, for the June 30 image:

n Charlotte Stevens called and identified the gentleman to the left of the picture sitting in a chair as her father, Ivan Van Epps. She said her father was in the Navy during World War I and remembers him talking about being in France. She remembers attending reunion picnics with her father, and how much fun the men had at them. Dotty Love Prouty identified the man kneeling in the front to the far left as her father, J. Weston “Shin” Love. He also was on the high seas during the Great War. She said everyone called him “Shin,” although she does not know where the nickname came from.
