TRAVERSE CITY — Sandi McArthur from Oryana Natural Foods Market will be the guest speaker at the Tuesday, April 9, meeting of the Cherryland Garden Club.

TRAVERSE CITY — The community is invited to join the United Methodist Women of Central United Methodist Church to pray for the success of the Saturday, April 27, “Dream Deferred Action Clinic.”
The prayer vigil will be held from noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 10, in the chapel at Central United Methodist Church, 222 Cass St. The clinic is supported by Justice for Our Neighbors, an organization that promotes just and humane immigration reform.
College for Kids
TRAVERSE CITY — Registration for Northwestern Michigan College’s College for Kids gets under way Friday, April 12.

TRAVERSE CITY — Notably Natural Fine Yarns is offering a variety of classes during April.
Classes meet Tuesday through Thursday at the business, 800 Cottageview Dr., suite 6. How to ID birds
BELLAIRE — Grass River Natural Area will offer a class in bird identification on Saturday, April 13.
The class will meet at 1 p.m. at the natural area, 6500 Alden Highway. Participants will learn basic bird identification and tips for spotting birds and identifying birds that resemble each other.
