- The Leelanau Montessori Public School Academy is looking for individuals to serve on its Board of Directors or in other leadership roles. Opportunities to serve on the Board exist in areas of accounting, education, technology, legal, research, media, marketing and fundraising. Past board experience is a plus.

The Suttons Bay charter school serves Leelanau and Grand Traverse counties. It offers tuition-free public elementary programs, and tuition-based preschool programs.

- Hospice of Michigan’s Ludington office is looking for volunteers for companionship, patient care, grief support, clerical, fund raising and community educational services. The office serves families in Benzie, Lake, Manistee and Mason counties.

Volunteer hours are flexible and there are no minimum hourly requirements. Hospice welcomes retirees, working people and youth volunteers beginning at age 14.
