Vezina-Bedard

TRAVERSE CITY — Lisa Vezina and James Bedard, both of Traverse City, were united in marriage on Aug. 4, 2012, at Woodcreek Lodge. The Rev. Susanne David officiated at the 5 p.m. nuptials.

April Lenz attended her friend as maid of honor. The groom's granddaughter, Julia Acker, was the flower girl.

James chose his uncle, York "Sonny" Patton, to serve as his best man.

A reception was hosted at the wedding site immediately following the ceremony. The newlyweds honeymooned in Birch Run, Mich., and are living in Traverse City.

Lisa is the daughter of Gerri Vezina of Venice, Fla., and the late William Vezina. She is employed by Brightstar Care and also by Addiction Treatment Services, both in Traverse City.

James is the son of Shirley Bedard of Traverse City and the late John Bedard. He is employed by the Women's Resource Center and also by Federal Armored Truck, both in Traverse City.
