The Father Fred Foundation in conjunction with the local chapter of the American Institute of Architects is holding the 2nd Annual Canstruction-TC competition to benefit the Father Fred Foundation's food pantry Feb. 2-7. Fourteen teams will be creating large sculptures entirely out of cans of food to kick off the foundation's Frostbite Food Drive. Winter Snowshoe Tours are held Sundays at 2:30 p.m. at Michigan Legacy Art Park near Thompsonville. A guide will lead snowshoers on a 1.6-mile hike across hilly terrain to view 45 works of art.
