Diaper drive

TRAVERSE CITY — The Grand Traverse Baby Pantry will observe April as the Month of the Young Child by holding a diaper drive.

Disposable diapers may be dropped off through April at St. Francis Catholic Church, 1025 S. Union St.; Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 1050 Peninsula Dr.; The Presbyterian Church, 701 Westminster; Family Fare Market, 905 E. Eighth St.; Oleson’s Food Stores, 3850 N. Long Lake Road and 1100 Hammond Road; and Tom’s Food Market West Bay, Acme, Munson Avenue, 14th Street and Interlochen locations.

Large sizes, especially 4 through 6 and 2T and 3T, are needed.

Cash donations also are appreciated and may be mailed to the GT Baby Pantry, 507 W. Eighth St., Traverse City, MI 49684.

Lenten program

TRAVERSE CITY — Bethlehem Lutheran Church is hosting soup and dessert dinners on Wednesdays during Lent.

The next meal will be served at 6 p.m. on April 2, at the church, 1050 Peninsula Dr.

Children will meet from 6:45-7:30 p.m. to learn about Lent and complete a craft to take home, while the adults participate in a worship service.

Free health seminar

TRAVERSE CITY — The community is invited to a free seminar on restless leg syndrome and natural ways to combat it.

The seminar starts at 6 p.m. April 3 at Shoreline Center for Healing, 402 S. Union St. For details or reservations, call 946-4325.

Friday fish dinner

ACME — The Knights of Columbus Council #9979 of Christ the King Church, 3801 Shore Road, are hosting Lenten fish dinners Fridays during Lent, excluding Good Friday.

The next all-you-can-eat meal will be served from 5-7 p.m., April 4, in the lower level of the church.

The suggested donation is $8 for adults, $4 for children and $25 per family. Stations of the Cross will start at 7 p.m. in the sanctuary following the meal.
