n Concordia University, Ann Arbor, named the following area students to their Dean’s List for fall semester: Madison Lutzke, of Beulah; Emily Smeltzer, of Frankfort.

n Bowling Green State University recognized Danielle Therrien, of Lake Ann, on their Dean’s List for fall semester.

n Four Suttons Bay students were recently recognized for their artwork by the Michigan Art Education Association. Eighth grade students, Marin VanderLeek and Amanda Allison were selected to be in the top 100 and their work will be on display at the Mary Anne Beckwith Gallery at Central Michigan University from April 16 to April 26. Twelfth grade students, Megan Bardenhagen and Olivia Allen-Wickler will also have artwork displayed at the Michigan Youth Arts Festival for high school top 100 on May 10 at Western Michigan University. Bardenhagen’s etching will also be included in the Governor’s Traveling Show which will travel throughout the state to be put on display for about a year.
