n Old Landmark Gone – Boarding House at Greilickville being wrecked – clear pine boards in building are revelation to the present generation. The old building known as the Greilickville boarding house, for years a land mark to residents of this region is being wrecked. The old structure which is constructed of the finest of pine timber, was built something over forty years ago and is still in the best of condition. Boards eighteen inches in width and twenty or thirty feet long, without a knot or a blemish in them aside from nail holes are being taken from the old building. The site of the boarding house is directly across from the store at Greilickville.

n December term of circuit court opened. The December term of the circuit court convened this afternoon with Judge Frederick W. Mayne on the bench. The desk of the judge was decorated with a large bouquet of Benora carnations as a gift of Frank M. Paine. The first cases called were those of The Peoples vs Miller Hobbs, violating the liquor laws and The Peoples vs Frank Koks for embezzlement.

n Mystery has been solved. Harry Case met with accidental death. Thorough investigation was made on Saturday. Place found where he fell off train when it rounded curve. Witness found who saw him board train. Sheriff Walter Greilick and former sheriff Martin Brown of Leelanau County spent Saturday in making a thorough investigation into the death of Harry Case which occurred after being injured at Cedar Run last week. Although the investigating was delayed for three days on account of the neglect on the part of those who found the boy to notify the officers promptly sufficient evidence was found to prove that his death was accidental.
