Bible study group for women

Traverse City — Christ United Methodist Church will offer a Bible study group for women.

The Beth Moore Bible Study, titled "Esther: It's Tough Being A Woman," will meet from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Sundays, Jan. 9 through Feb. 13, at the church, 1249 Three Mile Road. There is a fee for the book.

Cadillac church offers book study

Cadillac — Healing Private Wounds will sponsor a 12-week book-study group.

The group will meet from 6 to 8 p.m. Mondays beginning Jan. 10 at the United Methodist Church of Cadillac, 1020 E. Division. Participants will study Dr. Henry Cloud's book "Changes That Heal" to learn how understanding their past can ensure a healthier future.

New year for Church Women United

Traverse City — Church Women United will hold its first meeting of the new year on Thursday, Jan. 13.

The group will meet from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Central United Methodist Church, 222 Cass St. Central United Methodist Women will present the program. The mission will be a shower for the Pregnancy Care Center and participants also should bring a dish to pass and table service for the fellowship luncheon.
