Cape Dorset exhibition, sale on now at Dennos

TRAVERSE CITY — The Dennos Museum Center Cape Dorset Annual Graphics Collection exhibition and sale is offering double the opportunity for the public to purchase prints this year.

For the first time, the museum has purchased two sets of prints for the sale to enable more collectors to buy prints.

The museum has been collecting Inuit prints since 1960, offering the public the opportunity to purchase prints as it built what is now a collection of more than 1,400 works.

Proceeds from the sale are used to purchase new work for the Dennos Museum Inuit Collection.

Interested buyers may receive a catalog, price list and lottery number by calling the museum store at 995-1586 and may view the prints online at www.dennosmuseum.org.
