TRAVERSE CITY — Design expert, HGTV star and Traverse City celebrity resident Carter Oosterhouse will visit Great Wolf Lodge on Tuesday afternoon, Nov. 20.
Oosterhouse, who helped build playgrounds in Frankfort and Elmwood Township and who renovated a Traverse City fire station for an HGTV holiday special, this year has given his design expertise to a life-size gingerbread house at Great Wolf Lodge.
The 36-year-old host of “Carter Can,” “Red Hot & Green,” “Celebrity Motor Homes” and “Million Dollar Kitchens & Baths” will visit the resort to share holiday decorating tips and talk about how parents can get the whole family involved in holiday decor. His gingerbread house design will be on display at Great Wolf Lodge all season. Guests can have lunch or dinner inside the house for a $20 donation, with 100 percent of the seating fees donated to Big Brothers Big Sisters.
