'The Good Doctor' at Depot theater

Fox for Tots

The Fox for Tots annual toy drive will be topped off with a party at Fox Grand Traverse on Saturday, Dec. 8, from 1 to 4 p.m. There'll be free games, events and hot dogs, along with visits from Santa and Great Wolf Lodge's Wiley the Wolf. Those attending are asked to bring a new, unwrapped toy. Anyone donating will receive two free water park passes from Great Wolf Lodge. Call 944-1500.

Neighbors help

Gallery 22 in Suttons Bay holds a reception today from 5 to 7 p.m. as part of a weekend-long benefit for Leelanau Christian Neighbors.

Benefit concert

Meltdown will headline a benefit concert Saturday, Dec. 8, at the Kalkaska Civic Center. Tickets are $10 with donation of a new unwrapped toy, nonperishable food item or gently used coat or blanket, or $15 without. Call 564-1962.

Day of Giving

The Wineries of Old Mission Peninsula will host the annual "Day of Giving" on Saturday, Dec. 8, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Each winery will donate 15 percent of sales to a nonprofit organization. Those include: Food Rescue of NW Michigan, Traverse Health Clinic, Cherryland Humane Society, Father Fred Foundation, Goodwill Inn, Women's Resource Center and Fishing for a Cure.
