TRAVERSE CITY —
Lee Child and Michael Connelly are among the top-shelf names coming to the National Writers Series.
Child, the thriller writer who created the character Jack Reacher, will speak Sept. 18 at 7 p.m. at the City Opera House in Traverse City. Connelly, whose bestsellers include “The Lincoln Lawyer,” speaks Nov. 29 at 7 p.m.
The authors are two of the five upcoming summer and fall events announced today by the Writers Series. Other authors include young adult novelist Maggie Stiefvater, “Infidel” author Ayaan Hirsi Ali and actor, photographer and author Benjamin Busch.
Tickets go on sale to Writers Series donors at noon today and to the general public on June 18 through the opera house box office.
