Art Beat

ELK RAPIDS — Elk Rapids initiates a summer of fun with Art Beat of Elk Rapids on Saturday, June 1. Mullaly’s 128 Studio and Gallery, The Blue Heron Gallery, Twisted Fish Gallery and StoneHedge Gallery and Studio will participate in an open house gallery walk from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Birder’s breakfast

Fly festival

KINGSLEY — The Village of Kingsley and the Kingsley Friends of the Library will sponsor the Adams Fly Festival Saturday, June 1, at Brownson Park and the Kingsley Branch Library. Events begin at 1 p.m. and include fly tying and casting demonstrations and lessons, displays of river boats and fly fishing equipment, local art and talks by local historians.
