Art For Animals

An auction of art works to benefit Cherryland Humane Society will be held Sunday, Nov. 18, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at The Silver Swan, 13692 South West Bay Shore Drive, in Greilickville. There will be a silent auction, with food and refreshments for attendees. The public is invited.

Toys for Tots

The U.S. Coast Guard escorts Santa to start the annual Toys for Tots campaign with kick-off on Saturday starting at noon at Great Wolf Lodge. Look for children's activities, refreshments, tours of the Coast Guard helicopter, police and fire displays and a chance to visit with Santa. The event will conclude at 2 p.m., when Santa will fly off with the Coast Guard. Participants are encouraged to bring a new unwrapped toy. Call 933-0344 or visit www.ToysForTots.org.
